We have a DP test environment, with a Cell Manager made up of 2 * Windows 2008 R2 servers in a MS cluster, 2 Windows 2008 R2 clients, and Active Directory Server running DNS etc.
DNS registrations for the servers, cluster and cluster app all are ok.
The Cell Manager has 3 networks: Prod, Heartbeat & BUR. It communicates for DP with clients in the cell over the BUR network.
We can enable encryption on the primary cluster host, using 'omnicc -encryption -enable <fqdn of server>', which in turn enables it on the cluster and cluster app.
We have removed all clients from the 'Security Exceptions' list, but when we try and run the above command against another client we get:
[124:111] Failed to enable encryption for hosts:
<fqdn of server>
Has anyone seen this behaviour in a cluster before?
