when running EADR (Enhanced Automatic Disaster Recovery) on a Windows Client you may need to debug the process for support.
To prepare for this you should first create a Network Share to attach a mapped Drive to from your DR client durng the EADR process.
for all steps involved see; http://www.wikihow.com/Map-a-Network-Drive
For an accurate test, create and test the Network Drive capabiities using the same logged on account you would be using for the EADR recovery using the test client you plan to run the recovery on.
When navigating through the Disaster Recovery GUI's you'll note on the third displayed screen the debug button on the lower left hand side. Clicking on this button will give you two options.
1. debug range 1-200 is recommended
2. Mapped Drive location - This is where we will enter the pre tested mapped drive
Since the EADR process runs in memory, this mapped drive is the only location to place the debug files for collection and delivery to support
Also to note, Per the Administrators Guide we strongly recommend testing the EADR process as you may encounter issues specfic to your Network or Client that my call for some customization or corrections to be successful.
