Data Protector product installs and patch installs generate debug trace logs by default.  On Windows machines the logs are written to the following path:

     C:\Users\<User executing installation>\AppData\Local\Temp

      The user temp directory is definable in the registry with the following keys:

      Class Name:      <NO CLASS>
