I replaced an old ia64 Linux server (SLES9)
Host information:
host="old_host"
os="gpl ia64 linux-2.6.5-7.191-default"
Installed component[s]:
Disk Agent="A.06.00"
Oracle Integration="A.06.00"
with a new x86-64 Linux server (SLES 11)
Host information:
host="new_host"
os="gpl x86_64 linux-3.0.101-0.29-default"
Installed component[s]:
Disk Agent="A.06.10"
User Interface="A.06.10"
Oracle Integration="A.06.10"
Cell manager (DP "A.06.00") is on a windows server (no changes made on it):
Host information:
host="cell_mgr_host"
os="microsoft i386 wNT-5.2-S"
Installed component[s]:
Disk Agent="A.06.00"
Media Agent="A.06.00"
User Interface="A.06.00"
Automatic Disaster Recovery Module="A.06.00"
on cell manager gui i've added the "new_host" client and fylesystem backup works fine.
When i launch the oracle backup it stops with the message "On-line Extension for ONE UNIX system" required.
The command "./omnicc -check_licenses -detail" on old ia64 server shows:
Summary
-------
Description Licenses Needed
On-line Extension for ONE Windows / Linux system 1
On-line Extension for ONE UNIX system 1
The same command on new x86_64 server shows:
Summary
-------
Description Licenses Needed
On-line Extension for ONE Windows / Linux system 1
On-line Extension for ONE UNIX system 1
Encryption Extension for one client system 1
Why the Unix license is seruired?
↧
DP60 require "On-line Extension for ONE UNIX system" on linux system (?)
