I have a job that does a full backup on the weekend and incr1 on weekdays. These go to the disk.
I want to copy only the full backup from the weekend to the tapes.
I am trying to create a post backup object copy job. However, the only option I have is to select the backup specification and that includes the full and well as the incr1. Does anyone know how to copy just the full backup?
One option is to create two jobs - one for incr1 over weekdays and the other a full backup job. Then have the object copy use the full backup job spec. Two things to this though - sometimes the first incr1 after the full backup will perform a full backup and not incremental; second, you will need to create two jobs for every job that you want copied to tapes from the disk. This is not ideal.
Any ideas?
