Hi..
i have just implemented DP 8.1 on 2008R2 CM (VM) it has 2 CPU and 20GB RAM..
The cell manage is Not a media agent in the cell, there are a number of dedicated backup hosts
I am runnning th GUI on the cell manager itself.
i have schedued a number of backups scheduled to run over the weekend , but the whole cell seems to have hung, i cannot get a response from omnistat, and the Gui will not load. I have checked the target devices and nothing is being written to them , although there are a number of BSM processes running on the Cell manager.
This has cell has only been in operation for 4 days.... and i would not expect with the new IDB to have an issue....
CPu is at 2-3% and RAM is running at 19%
any help would be appreciated
any ideas on if it is safe to restart the services?
