Hello,
we used Ontrack PowerControls 7.01 for a long time to restore mailboxes from our exchange 2003 servers.
But some days ago the computer that has PowerControls installed crashed.
After i installed PowerControls 7.1 (newest version) on a new computer with the DP7.00 client components (client+exchange 2003 integration) i realised that i can't restore exchange databases. I always get an error in the Data Protector client.
After some research i found out that PowerControls only supports Data Protector up to 6.20 (see http://www.krollontrack.com/information-management/email-management-for-exchange/add-on-features/).
The crashed computer had DP 6.20 components installed and i was able to restore mailboxes with a DP 7.00 server.
So i only need 6.20 client components. The DP server can be version 7.
Is there a way to deploy 6.20 components (client+exchange 2003 integration) with a 7.00 server?
If not, can the 6.20 components be installed manually without a version 7 client and where do i get the necessary old DP6.20 components?
