I'm installing DP 8.1 to a new Proliant 360 G7 server with Windows Server 2012r2. I've zoned in both an EML103e and a VTL9200. The server sees the robotics and tape drives of both libraries just fine. When I go to configure DP, the VLS9200 configures fine and works great. The EML103e, however, does not work. DP can see the robotics and the drives but all as separate entities.
If I try to autoconfigure the library, the robotics are not selectable and has no drives associated with it. I can select the drives individually though. If I try to set it up manually it sees the devices and their associated SCSI addresses, but doesn't ever really allow any operations to work. It winds up crashing the library IFC when trying to do anything with the library in DP. Is this an issue with the 2012r2 drivers for the library (Unknown Medium Changer) or with DP?
I may back down to straight 2012 and see if the issue persists but I'd like to be on r2.
