HPD2D - HP DP - Serial number has changed

Hi,

I have a "running" HP backup environment with HP DP 7 and a HP D2D4324.

My problem is, if I reboot the D2D and do afterwards a backup or a slot scan via DP, DP mixed up the SCSI addresses of the VTLs, the backups failed and a scan shows now tapes from an other VTL.

Even if I do a manual reload of the Device Serial Number, I always have to download the library settings via omnidownload and set the SCSI address and serial number manually.

But not for all VTLs, sometimes 3, sometimes 7 and so on. 

Can anyone explain me is this a normal process or what can I do, because the serial number of the VTLs were not changed.
