Consolidation Slow

Using DP 7.03 on server 2008 x64.

I've purchased a 10TB advanced backup to disk license. I have setup a StoreOnce store and ran a full backup to disk. Backed up about 8TB of data and it worked very well. Backup retention is marked as permanent. Since I need to create tapes for off-site storage, I copied this full backup to tape using the object copy. That also went well. Tape drive is MSL-4048 w/ LTO-5 drives.

My understanding is that from this point on, I can just run incremental backups and then use the consolidation feature to create synthetic full backups to tape. Ran a week's worth of incremental to the StoreOnce store. Now it is time to create the new sythetic full to tape.

My problem is that this is running very slow. It only does one object at a time. It has been running two full days and isn't even half done. I'm hoping I am doing something wrong or have something misconfigured. Everything else has always done multiple object simultaneously. With this only doing one object, it never will have a chance of running at a reasonable speed.

TIA,

Rick
