OpenVMS 8.3 Dataprotector Backup failed

Hello,

we have some issues with our Backups of Open VMS (8.3).  This message always appear:

    Cannot append to medium ([65535] operation is incomplete

[Major] From: BSM@***********"  Time: 08.01.2014 23:19:29
[61:3003]      Lost connection to VBDA named "*****"
    on host *******.
    Ipc subsystem reports: "Bad message format."

I tried to find a similar case, but i found nothing.  I just find out that 65535 is the last possible port, so maybe there is something wrong on the vms host?
