HPE DP9.07 vmware GRE and VCSA 6.5

I brought up a VCSA 6.5 vm.  I am successfully backing up the VMs, and it succesfully imported into DP 9.07 Build 109 as a client. The GRE plugin is installed, as I see the HPE Data Protector entry under the configure tab of the VM. However, when I click on it, I see a window pop up with the backup server listed, but it quickly goes away an nothing happens.

I think its a port issue with the firewall. Does everyone have an official HP Document to resolve this?
