A few quick words before to our HP DP Environment: We're using a W2k12R2 Cluster as CS with two additional physical linux servers for VE-Integration and a MSL8096 Tapelib hosting 4 LTO6 drives. Everything is connected via 8gb SAN and 10GB Ethernet respectively.
Now the troubl-ish part: For a few weeks now the SCSI paths to the tapelib seem to run rampart and even with "automatically discover changed scsi address" option checked there are always "dead" paths that are shown as valid option (see screenshot attached).
However when starting a object-copy-to-tape, DP tries to take those paths, recognizes that theyre dead, but thats it then. No switching to another tape drive or scsi path, the session just hangs with the drive(s) claimed. This leads to multiple failures of following jobs as the drives are all occupied.

After hanging in the "load medium" state for about 30 minutes i decided to abort the job.
Any ideas about the whole of this?
