When Data Protector installs the Oracle integration package, it installs the package based on the architecture of the machine.. For example, if the HP-UX machine is IA-64, the package installed will be IA-64 and thus the Oracle binaries should be IA-64 so that the Data Protector library will properly load. Having Oracle 32-bit binaries loaded on an IA-64 will not function because the Data Protector 32-bit library will not exist on this machine for Oracle to load.
