(DP) Support Tip: Essential Logs for troubleshooting the IDB

The IDB and its releated services generate logs that may prove useful to self solve a problem or quicken resolution to a case by pro activly providing these logs to support,

The logs are

PostGreSQL Log Files:

(Windows systems) DP_DATA_DIR\server\db80\pg\pg_log

(Unix systems)          DP_DATA_DIR/server/db80/pg/pg_log

IDB Connection Pooling Logs files

(Windows systems) DP_DATA_DIR\log\hpdp-idb-cp.log

(Unix systems)          DP_DATA_DIR/log/hpdp-idb-cp.log

JBoss Application Server Log files

(Windows systems) DP_DATA_DIR\log\App_Server\server.log

(Unix systems)           DP_DATA_DIR/log/App_Server/server.log

The PG logs prove useful in events that may involve IDB general health and performance

The IDB Connection Pooling  logs files are useful in cases where the hhpdp-idb or hpdp-idb-cp service, fail to start or utilities such as omnidb or omnidbutil fail to run

JBoss log files are useful in situations where the  hpdp-as or automatic scheduler fails to start.
