First time poster, first time user of DP. We are attempting to implement this new software to our enviroment to replace Backup exec.
Issue:
Trying to do a first time test exchange restore with GRE recovery, and keep receiving an error message:
"Either parsing of command builder output failed or no databases were backed up ."
Enviroment:
6 exchange (VM) servers in a dag enviroment.
1 Exchange (VM) server acting as a place to do restores/and GRE recovery. This also is apart of the DAG.
Cell Manager running DP 8.0. All systems run windows 2008 R2 Enterprise.
I've successfully restored the required files for the database/mailbox/mail item (I.e. database file, logs files etc..) i want to restore from to the temp location on the VM that will be doing the GRE recovery.
When I go into the extension to attempt GRE recovery, I try to "import from backup" either from Mailbox Selection or Database selection, and recieve the parsing error message.
Any help or ideas?
