Hi, I recently transitioned an SQL server from physical to vm. Since that time, I have been requested to restore a database. The new vm assumed the host name and ip address of the old physical box, which was powered down. When I try to restore to the db on the vm, I get this message: [Major] From: OB2BAR_SQLBAR@SFCU41.sikorskyfcu.org "WASPDBEXPRESS" Time 8/20/2015 11:31:11 AM Can not impersonate user "sfcu41\dpeadmin". Error: [1326] Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. The identified local admin account exists on the new vm, but did not exist on the old physical box. Are there credentials identified in the backup that are causing the problem? I don't understand the process fully, so I'm not sure where it is falling down. Can anyone buy me a clue? When I look on the server, I see the dpeadmin account in the administrators group. Where do I need to sync credentials? Do I need to inform DP of the password somehow? We are running DP 7.0. Thanks, Larry
