HP support is requiring us to update our MSA1000, fca2101 hbas, dl740s and securepath to the latest firmware and software revisions. The HP storage guys have been less than confident in the steps required to make this update work correctly. The biggest concerns are moving from scsiport to storport drivers, and upgrading securepath from 4.0C to SP2.
Anyone have any experience doing this? I've only got a couple dl740s, one MSA1000 with two MSA30s attached. We're running Server 2003 (no SP) and MS cluster services. We only have a 4 hour window to make the changes. Any hints, pitfalls, advice, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Any issues moving from scsiport to storport in a live environment?
