We have 4 setups in which we have 4 Cell Managers ( win 2008 )
Setup 1 has 8 AIX clients 2 linux
Setup 2 has 15 hpux clients with 11.23 & 11.31
Setup 3 has 25 hpux clients with 11.23 & 11.31
Setup 4 has 10 AIX clients with 6.1
All setup has its own tape library .
Setup 1 has LTO5 Tape library under warranty .
Setup 2 has LTO4 MSL8096 library to be discarded.
Setup 3 has LTO4 MSL8096 library to be discarded.
Setup 1 has LTO5 Tape library under warranty.
Setup 2 & 3 & 4 are in same SAN fabric .
Setup 1 in diff fabric .
We have procured Storeonce ABD 10TB license and planning to use this for all Setups.
Cant we consolidate all Cell managers to single one ?
Note : We need to restore old backups too
