Hi Guys
I was hoping for a quick clarification.
I have a Windows v9.00 CM and a number of Windows Servers on the LAN with DA/MA installed all backing up fine.
I have some DMZ servers which are not backing up and I would like to specify the port range so I can create a rule on the firewall and know which ports will be used during backup.
Process as I understand it;
On the server in the DMZ which has DA/MA installed, create an omnirc file located at C:\Programdata\omniback\
(without file extension)Containing the following example parameters:
OB2PORTRANGE=18000-18009
Nothing else in the file.
If I create the the omnirc file containing the above and restart the services in the DMZ server, and providing the Firewall rule is in place should this do what I need it do do? Or am I missing anything?
I wasnt sure If I needed to edit or add an OMNIRC on the Cell Manager,
as obvioulsy I only need 1 server to communicate on specific ports.
Any help or comments would be appreciated.
