I just found out that a Catalyst replication job between two SO devices does not stop after I issue an abort in DP 9.03. The job keeps running even after reboot of both SO devices, the Cell Manger and Media Agent. The job has the correct state "Aborted" in DP.
As far as I understand, the only way to terminate a started replication is to go to the SO Web interface on both SO devices, StoreOnce Catalyst -> Stores ->Store xxx -> Inbound/Outbound Copy Jobs and then cancel each of the running and pending replication jobs on both sides. In our case this can be a lot jobs and there is no way to select multiple jobs.
I had to do this last week, because I accidentally set up a wrong replication job that began to replicate a lot of data between 2 sites over a _very_ small WAN connection. It was extreme hard to solve the problem.
Is there any other way to cancel a job? I'd expect that an abort command from DP is not silently ignored by StoreOnce...
