Hi und Hello,
we have DP 8.13 on Windows 2008R2 Server and have an big Question.
Our Constelation seems so:
In Headquarter stands the Cellmanager(we called him DALBACK05) with one MSL2024 (2x LTO5) and an HDD Shelf with 13TB (StoreOnceSoftware).
In the "Backup Location" stands the same Hardware,on this Server(we called him DALBACK06) is the same Os installed and the same Version from DP with same Patches like MasterCellManager.
Only Difference is:The Server in "Backup Location" is normally working only as MediaManager for LTO 5 and StoreOnce Lib.And only the DP Inet Service and the StoreOnce Service is started.
So,and now comes the "Problem":
We want to use the DALBACK06 in the Backup Location as an Cold Standby Cellserver,because when the Headquarter is totaly defect,there is no CellManager anymore.
Our question is now,what is the easiest Way to "transfer" the Database and other needed Files from DALBACK05 to the Cold Standby Server DALBACK06?
With omnidb-read and write..ok,but in Action of this Command an running Backup or Copyjob is crashing and we have no timeframe without any backup,copy or replicationjob from Headquarter and Backup Location.
Another Info:
We can write one Stite to another Site in StoreOInce or LTO.This is no Problem.
