I have real problems being able to successfully use the GRE agent for Exchange 2010.
I currently have a long standing support case with HP that has been very frustrating to work through.
Software has been installed for over a year on a Exchange restore server & fortunately I haven't had to perform a mailbox restore.
However, a recent restore request required me to completely uninstall the DP GUI plus agent tools from this server along with a reboot & full install.
This allowed me to restore a mailbox.
Two weeks later, another restore request was unable to be performed due to GRE failing.
This piece of software in my experience is incredibly hit & miss, and I am not confident that I will be able to respond in a timely manner if I am asked to perform another Exchange GRE restore.
Is there any documentation other than the manual & a couple of troubleshooting docs on this forum?
