I hope somebody could help me with this.
We have Windows 2008 R2 two-node fail-over cluster with Informix 11.70.
HP DP is version 9.0.
Backup specifications were created as per the integration guide for hp dp 9.0 and the client is added as 'cluster-aware' client in the group MS Clusters.
Each node has media agent, informix integration and cluster server components installed.
Backup and restore is working fine so far.
Unfortunately it seems that when a switchover/failover happens, HP DP is unable to do backups and restores and the sessions are failing with error "[12:8808] The Informix sqlhosts file is not set or the file does not exist.".
Seems that only one of the two-nodes of the cluster is "remembered" from HP DP (at the time integration was performed) and if the service runs on the other node, the connection cannot be established.
Do somebody can advise a workaround?
We don't want to create separate backup specifications for "unactive" node and switch to them in case of failover/switchover, nor we want to reconfigure the current specs each time when this event happen.
