I'm trying to setup a backup of our Sharepoint 2012 server with data protector, but I'm getting a warning in my session messages that the passphrase stored in Data Protector does not match to passphrase used in the Sharepoint farm. In the object list the Sharepoint_Config/3:SharePoint - 80 object shows Not Available. The rest of the sharepoint objects are backed up sucessfully.
I've setup the backup according to the integration guide, with an impersonation setup on the client, set to a user that has farm administrator privileges, and access to all the content on the farm. With only that impersonation, I get this error:
[Warning] From: OB2BAR_SHAREPOINT@prws14.mbc.internal "SharePoint_Config" Time: 3/4/2015 3:14:56 PM [171:147] Passphrase check failed on 'prws14.mbc.internal'. Error: Failed to get passphrase or farm administration credentials from INET configuration.
I have a ticket open with support about the issue, but I'm not getting anywhere fast with them. They only that they suggested that made a difference, was adding another impersonation to the client: *PASSPHRASE*@*MSSPS*
I'm not sure what it's supposed to do, but it has changed my error to this:
[Warning] From: OB2BAR_SHAREPOINT@prws14.mbc.internal "SharePoint_Config" Time: 3/4/2015 3:28:44 PM [171:147] Passphrase check failed on 'prws14.mbc.internal'. Error: sharepoint_bar:Passphrase stored in Data Protector does not match to passphrase used in the SharePoint farm.
Am I missing something in the configuration? Is this a normal occurance?
Our cell manager is running Data Protector 9.02 on CentOS 6.6
The sharepoint server is version 14 on Windows 2008 R2.
