HP DP - restore verfication

Hi,
 
We use HP - DP Version 7.00 for backups of HP-UX, Linux servers and Oracle DB on both.
 
Recently we did a filesystem restore on a Linux server and the restore session completed successfully, but some direcotries and files went missing in the restore through they were available on tape.
 
Is there a way to verify the data integrity after restore?  Would enabling CRC on backups be of any help in this?
