DP Backup - vSphere upgrade from v4.1 to v5.5 in place

HiTeam,

Current Scenerio

DP Version - 7.03

vShpere version - 4.1

VADP snapshot backup is taken with daily incremental and Weekly full backup along with GRE for file level recovery .

Now vmware team is planning to upgrade  existing vCetner server from 4.1 to vCenter 5.5 ,   DP version will reamin as it is .

Questions

1. If we upgrade vCenter  in place , will that affect the backup which were already taken using old vCenter version 

2.  Do we need to reconfigure vCenter after upgrade

3. Does the restore of VM which were backed up using OLD vCenter works fine thorugh new vCenter
