doing a Virtual environment backup

All my backukp jobs are file system backup jobs.  Trying to do a Virtual environment backup now.  When I right click on virtual environement(VE) and add backup, and click OK on the Create New Backup screen, I can select a client but it erros out saying that the configuration check failed. I click on OK and a Configure Virtual Environment page comes up.  What am I supposed to be entering in here?  username, password, organization, web service root, and port.
