I need further help with the Exchange Integration. Since we installed the Integration, we have 3 options to backup our new Exchange 2013 server. "Filebased", "Exchange 2010+" and the "Microsoft VSS" option. First we started to use just the backup option "Exchange 2010+" and configured a new backup job. Then I realized this option does only a back up of the database, but not purging the Transaction Logs, so we ran out of diskspace after a few days. So we configured now also a VSS backup job and since then the logs were purged. So is this by design, we have to run the integration backup job AND the VSS job to get a proper and consistent Exchange backup? How are you guys doing it?
