Session crashes but DP think it's still running, keeps drive busy until timeout

DP 6.2

Unix

Every session that fails or has a single error disappears from monitor and keeps running in sessions.

There's no omni nor bdm process in unix. So i can't kill these. There's no clue of these sessions except in sessions, it's there forever.

The only workaround we've found this far:

1. Wait timeout (we have a 60 minutes timeout) for the drive to get free (the drive is actually free, but omniback thinks it's busy). The session will keep running in sessions but it will be over.

2. Restar DP services from unix. This is the only way for DP to change those sessions from in progress to completed. This is a pain in the ass cause there has to be no running sessions and we have dozens of bacukps running everyday.
