Using Win2012R2 Data Deduplication with a StoreOnce B2D

We are using Data Protector 9.01 to a StoreOnce 4420 using Catalyst shares. 

Windows Server 2012R2 has the ability to use Data Deduplication.  This is great for saving space on the connected disk array.

However, we are backing up our systems via Catalyst to the StoreOnce device which also deduplicates data.

Deduplicate deplicated data?  Mind blown.

What is the best practices for handling this situation?  How should the backups be set up?  How would this affect restores?
